NEW APPOINTMENT

Hello Ladies,

Well thanks for taking the time to stop by.  Thought I would share my latest news.
I have been appointed to the Design Team over at The Scrapbooking Hut!.
I am so excited to be on this fantastic team of ladies and hope that you will stop by to see what is going on there.
Their first challenge happening is a Blind Crop, which are always lots of fun and more details can be found HERE.

BLACK WITH 2 -GUEST DESIGNER FOR SEPTEMBER

Hello girls,

Well I am pretty excited this month as I was asked to be Guest Designer at Black with 2.  This month is definitely outside their usual criteria with a beautiful colour palette.

See I did say it was beautiful :)  such lovely colours and all good enough to eat.  Of course, I jumped at the chance to design a LO and help everyone get some inspiration.
 Of course I had the perfect photo of our little granddaughter, teamed with Prima flowers and Liquid Pearls on the alpha.

 As you will see on Black with 2's Blog,  which you can find HERE, the Design Team girls have been very creative.

BLACK WITH 2 - APRIL CHALLENGE

Hello Everyone,

I trust that you are now over the Easter festivities and ready to get back into the swing of documenting your recent photographs.
This Month's challenge has a gorgeous colour pallette, as shown here, for you to work with this month.

these colours were so out of my comfort zone, but decided to tackle it full on and I was so happy with the end result!!
I had some fantastic black cardstock that was 'letter embossed', which I sanded in places and painted in another spot - so effective.  Made the butterfly from calico which I painted and then placed bits of old book paper, teamed with a bit of faux stitching.  Crepe paper heart, twine, flowers and a crochet flower too.

Well hope that you are now inspired to join in the fun and I look forward to seeing your creations.

SKETCHES IN THYME #105 FOR MARCH

Hello girls,

Lots of scrapping going on and Sketches in Thyme has a new sketch for March which I thought I would share with you.


Great sketch I thought so here is my creation.  I have used this Die Cut from We are memory makers, Americal Crafts thickers, splash ribbon.  This was such a fun creation and also used some 'bubble wrap' painting.

Archi-scraps March Challenge

Yes I know I have been busy, but just found this site and thought I would participate in their latest challenge.
The theme is on Fairy Tales.  I thought I would do this submission of this mirror I created on the Fairy Tale theme.  I have made this mirror for my granddaughters birthday.

BLACK WITH 2

Hi there,
I trust that you all have been as busy as me scrapping your Christmas and/or Holiday photos.
With a new month ahead of us, I thought I would get the ball rolling with our new Challenge over at Black with 2 . I think you are going to like our colourways of Black with blue/yellow.
I enjoyed these colours very much and loved how the layout has that soft appearance.
